Artycapucines by Ugo Rondinone BB

Ugo Rondinone's ArtyCapucines, first introduced in 2022, showcases a striking harlequin pattern, inspired by his enduring fascination with clowns. The design is meticulously crafted by hand, with nearly 15,000 small beads embroidered onto the leather body of the bag. Each diamond-shaped section also features 3D-printed flowers, influenced by sculptures Rondinone created in 1988, and reminiscent of the iconic Louis Vuitton Monogram. The handle is a hand-crafted translucent rainbow, another recurring visual theme in the artist's work. Designed to catch the light, the handle projects vibrant colours onto the bag's flap when exposed to bright light.
